KR is 66 y/o. ALIVE. Stones are even planning a tour. Go figure.

A childhood friend of mine died.

I was feeling beautifully melancholic - and posted a few tunes about it.

As far as I know, Keith Richards is very much alive.

I think I know that feeling. It is sad but healthy to mourn a loss such as that.

Anything that Johnny Cash did in his last few recordings to me is touching.

I sang at a funeral just a few weeks back. Unfortunately it was a pretty obscure piece by a man who killed himself after getting bad reviews, I don't have a recording.

Many of us singers talk about the pieces we want at our funeral. I think mine will have to be a couple of hours at this point.
