Child Support Adjustment

I hear you...my ex is doing the same thing after 18 years, suddenly is asking for paternity test for daughter . No problem, he will get it and hopefully the judge will "reward"him for his ability to be a jackass.

This whole process is frustrating, especially when dealing with someone who shirks his responisibility all the time.
We have court agreement from 2008 (this is where FRO took him to court for being in arrears over 10000.00) He claimed he only had an income of 19000.00. so his support was adjusted for two children and an ok amount for the arrears to be paid monlthly as he just started back to his work (he is an alcoholic and they let him go becuase of failure to show up to work)

My daughter turned 18 in May, i have be asking him since that time to provide me with his updated income as it is near 50000. I need to have a support order to stop child support for my daughter and have it readujsted to his most current income.
I finally served him court papers yesterday, he is freaking out saying it is illegal to for me to do this and he should only have to pay 100.00 for my son a month???


I have filed a motion to change to have support cease for my daughter in May and then have his obligatory support amount changed to his 2008 income starting june 1....

Ever since this guy has been served he has yelled harrassed , and even went as far to say in his brief that he was not my sons father....he also went two years without seeing the children as well becuase he was upset about child support....


Sorry people, I just had to vent.

On the other hand, my new husband of 4 years pays 1300.00/month for his two... we send payment without any problems....
