When looking at splitting a public service pension is the date of valuation the date of separation or the date of trail? If we separated in February 2020 would I use that date or today's date?
The date of valuation is the date of Separation.
The amount that is in scope is from the time the cohabitation began until it finished or maybe it is date of marriage. If you call your pension plan they should help you.
