  • Notorized Seperation Agreement.

So IF me and the ex hammer out details of agreed value of assets, alimony, child support etc etc.

Once it's notorized is that it.

We just wait for 12 months....proceed with Divorce?

What IF finances change after Seperation Agreement...

For example IF my TFSA went from 50,000 up to 100,000 in 12 months.

Can she come after more money?....if she allready agreed to 50% of 50,000?

If you both had independent legal advice then you will be covered. If an investment goes up after you split she isn’t entitled to it. Much like she isn’t entitled to a lottery win if you get that.

So we both need to see lawyers to make a Seperation Agreement valid?

Yes you both need independent legal advice. Its a clause in all agreements. It protects you both.
