I am divorced and have joint custody of my children with my ex wife. She has primary residence.
I inherited my family home where I am currently residing with my brother. My ex-wife tried to claim it as a matrimonial home during the divorce, even though she was only an occasional visitor to the place.
The judge ruled that it was not a matrimonial home as it was inherited and she did not live here.
My question is: I now want to sell this house now and move to be closer to my children. I pay child support according to tables. If I sell this inherited home, would my ex then be able to launch another lawsuit and get more money from me that way?
