  • CS - what to have?

If I'm going to my lawyer to calculate how much CS I am entitled to from my ex, what sort of documents should I bring?

My ex has given me a number for his salary last year, and that's it. It was the number used in our divorce documents for a ballpark CS figure. Should I just go on that salary amount, or should I request some documentation? And if so, what am I entitled to ask for in the way of documentation?

    Thanks.

    baileybug,

Ask for sworn financial information with their last income stubs and the last three years previous income tax returns and final assessments. If a motion is brought forth in court the individual will have to provide same.
