  • seeking opinions- audio video evidence

I have audio video evidences to prove that my ex had sent me fake receipts & many more.
How can I show these tapes in the court?
Do I need a special permission to play those tapes?
I do not want to give this evidence to my ex before the trial. I want to play that only in trial because I know if my ex got this tape she can manupulate or change lots of things before trial..
thx in advance for the advice..

You can't do that. There are very strict rules about disclosure of evidence, you and your ex both have a right to know what will brought up at trial.

I would recommend that you type out (or get someone else to) a brief, very brief, description of what is on the tapes, and include some direct quotes that are especially relevant. Then take the tapes to a notary, have the notary witness the transcript and say that it's accurate. Talk to the notary first and find out how much of this they are comfortable doing and the cost.(They may even have a better suggestion.)

Then note the contents on your court application/response, and attach copies of these transcripts.

If your ex challenges the accuracy, then you point out that you have the tapes.

Now what you are trying to do is make your ex look bad and that they are lying. Here is the legal way you can do it. (Depending on if you are the applicant or the respondant) let her make her false claim first, and then reply in your affidavit that you have proof of the falsehood. This is then part of the continuing record and you can bring the issue up in court.

If my ex will come to no about the evidence, than she will definetly going to change all her financial statement & other document which I don't want.
