Something interesting for asset protection!

Hello,

I was wondering, would this be a good solution on how men/women can protect themselves from loosing their assets, paying alimony and so forth... in the event a marriage goes sour?

Please go to the following link and read FAQ#12. All the other FAQ points are very interesting too, but I have to warn you theres allot of reading to do... so just read #12... if you want to read all the other points... that's good too. I didn't read all of them but they all seem very interesting.

Just wait until the other side starts making claims that you are hiding the money offshore. That can be damaging.

Just meet someone who is mature and intelligent, who has her own career and own assets. I'm sure she'll be just as careful that you aren't after her money. Then you two can protect your assets from each other. Condoms work nicely for that.

The assets are in trust in a different country with different laws!
Its not like they could get to it ... no?

Forget the legality, what about the morality?

The pre nup should be sufficient. That FAQ was probably written by someone selling offshore trusts.

They surely had me convinced! That's the problem with some of the stuff we read on the net.... we never know if it was written by some guy so that it benefits his own interests!

Everyone keeps talking about prenup, prenup... but a prenup is subject to equitable distribution. And this is rendered by the judge no matter hoow stringent one makes the prenup. I have read so many stories about loop holes in prenups that it sends chills down my spine.

Perhaps as someone suggested, a smart & wealthy woman might be my destiny. However, this too requires a pretty lucky query. I have to get along with her, she has to like me and I have to like her, she has to live in Quebec, she has to be sort of wealthy and she has to be sort of smart. Smart, because, I really see beauty in someone that is witty and intelligent... Not an easy task gentlemen, don't you think! :-)

Oh yeah, and the most important thing, I have to find her just as much as she has to find me !!!!
