  • Child Custody

I posted awhile back about getting my daughter back from Alberta. I have managed to do so and she is noe living with me fulltime without any custody papers, but she is reistered in school here. So my question is do I have full custody legally without any paper work.

Unless there is a separation agreeement or court order, then joint custody is what you have by default. Of course, as that status quo sinks in, you gain de facto custody which would be very compelling if it went to court.

Or if there aren't any problems b/w you and your ex, you can let it ride and stay out of court. The status quo will not be interrupted as long as your daughter is doing OK.
