I don't think there was a restraining order or court date against him. He was just told to do this after he paid bail. I think it is an automatic rule after being accused of child abuse. She told the police that he was a threat. But what is she getting out of skipping the court dates?

okay was there a court date and a restraining order filed against him. If there wasn't, then there is no reason for him not to be near his kids.

She keeps missing court date! Why?
Hey everyone, I'm new to the forum. I desperately need help before it's too late. This lady falsely accused her husband of beating her and her kids- she is an immigrant and thought that she could "control" her husband by being able to threaten him with police if he doesn't do her bidding. To her surprise, he didn't accept the false charges and quietly come back to her, he denied all charges. Anyway, this happened months ago. Unfortunately, simply because he was accused, he is not allowed within 100 feet or something of his kids. He just wants access to the kids until he can figure out what to do next. He hasn't seen his kids for months and he's concerned for their health and education. She has been called to court in order to give him supervised access to the kids- she skipped the court date, they rescheduled a month or two later, and she skipped that day too. I don't know what she is trying to do? Can anyone think of what she might be planning? Can she get away with this? How will this affect the father's ability to get access to his kids? Is she just buying more time so that she can coach the kids against their dad? this has gone on for over 6 months.
She is not highly educated so it's possible she thinks that giving him supervised access means giving him joint custody... or maybe she thinks it will affect the amount of child support she gets? i dunno- they aren't divorced or anything.Tags: None
