When to sign a prenup?

I'm going through a divorce now and since this is fresh in my mind, am curious as to when would I need a prenup.

I will have a matrimonial home, with some value. The lady, I am seeing would have approximatly the same value in RRSPs.

Would I have to do a prenup before we move in together, or just before the marriage?

i would do one before you move in together, that way there is no conflict in case it doesn't work out. I would also update it before you get married so that once again everyone knows where they stand.
