  • Is an Anullment Needed{New,Canada}Brunswick

My {ex} girlfriend and i have been over with/both moved on some time ago. Lived common-law but were never married. I'm in NewBrunswick/Canada. Someone told me they think i need an Anulment, but isn't an Anulment needed only if you were legally married{on paper}? We have no issues and both have moved on and are with different partners now. Me in NewBrunswick, her in Ontario. I don't need an Anulment....am i right, can someone please confirm.

There is a possibility that someone was advising that a separation agreement may be needed to avoid the possibility of your ex coming back after you for something.
But personally if you have both moved on and she has not indicated that she deserves anything from the relationship, I think you will be OK leaving sleeping dogs lie.
