CC Brief Signed by Lawyer vs ex

CC brief received recently and I noticed that it was signed by ex's lawyer as opposed to ex - does this matter?

It should be signed by the individual, however, if thats the brief they filed, don't get to wrapped up by the details. Remain focused on the real issues. Keep in mind that CC briefs are generally returned to the parties or thrown out and don't form part of the continuing record.
