If you qualified for legal aid previously, and you are seaking a variation in Support for the children I believe that you would still be covered under legal aid. I would return to the lawyer that has your case and ask him/her.
My case stayed active in legal aid until the very end, even though there were motions and sometimes a few years between court appearances.
I do not have a legal aid lawyer. I have spent about 15k in lawyer fees.
My ex has a legal aid lawyer and I'm wondering if legal aid would fund a motion for him, even though a final custody order was signed about 1 month ago?
I believe legal aid would fund the litigation. Nothing final in family law. Life is full of material change of circumstances. Legal aid may also fund an appeal as well.
