A friend of mine went through a case in the Superior Court of Justice where a publication ban was placed on a transcript of the court hearing (there was no publication ban in the decision). There were no statutes mentioned at all in the publication ban (I'm assuming it was made under the justice's common law).
Does anyone have an idea on how to get this lifted? I'm assuming it's a motion of some sort.
