Can/should a biological parent force the other biological parent only to talk to them when their new spouse is present, when talking about matters strictly related to the children? Is this frowned upon/recommended in the courts?

to me its only proper for the biological parents to collaborate independently with out new spouses in regards to issues involving the child. Involving new additional spouses only complicates the matters.
