  • Amendments to consent order

Ex hub and I signed a consent order about 8 months ago. We were both represented by lawyers and were content with the outcome. We now find ourselves mutually agreeing that one particular clause of a financial nature is not agreeing with either of us. We're on good terms and don't really need a lawyer again, we hope, and are wondering if we can petition the court together to made an ammendment to that one clause.

Are we allowed to do this without our lawyers? Neither of us care to spend more money on legal fees when we are in mutual agreement as to the change we would like to make. If this is a man acceptable and normal practise, how do we begin the ammendment process?
