STBX lawyer cancelled Settlement Conference - Remiss in rescheduling - should I?

Hi Community,

I had the 3rd part of my settlement conference scheduled for April 15th. STBX's lawyer says she couldnt make it. I said fine, reschedule.

She has yet to reschedule. While the onus is on her to canvas dates for me and OCL and coordinate with the trial coordinator's office she has done didley squat.

So what do I do ? Schedule the conference myself ?

Yes the games are in full tilt...

I'd pepper the other lawyer with letters/emails requesting dates (assuming you are self-represented). cc - all correspondence with trial coordinator ... send letters to the opposing counsel... send an email to opposing counsel alerting them to your fax/letter.... also send a fax to the trial coordinator (with a cc to opposing counsel that you have communicated with opposing counsel about the proposed trial date). Rinse and repeat.

Be consistent about this... LOL Go letter/fax/email "crazy" knowing you are running up your ex's lawyer's bills.

.... emails/faxes to confirm things are really annoying......
