  • Indefinite Spousal Support paid by Respondent Wife could have been much more

In reading this case I was struck by the judge's comment

"[65] Ms. Anderson lives at a standard of living not contemplated by the case law in light of the conditions she has left Mr. Olson to live out the rest of his days. She is fortunate that Mr. Olson has not moved to set aside their Separation Agreement as there may have been a more equitable arrangement made by this court."

Interesting oversight on the part of the Applicant's legal team IMO.

in other words - the man is getting screwed by the woman but its his own fault. I am sure if he has asked for more the tune would have been different.

In other cases, judges have ordered spousal support AGAINST the will of the recipient of the parties. Why not here?

Bingo...you see the Misandry in that? But wait, you ask why not here...that is because the emotion needs to be respected, as well as entitlement "just because" don't you know

But we shouldn't talk about that because it's narcissistic to do so.

Most of us do, and it's comical. Equality doesn't extend this far

And that is the type of case where one salary/income split in two is maybe warranted.

Needs child at home, someone needs to be there. Child is product of both parents, therefore responsible of both parents (maybe the state to some degree?)

Or both parents work and hire in-home help.

But if able to work, ability and time, then get a bloody job and support yourself.

I think the case I posted is a good example of a lawyer not doing a very good job. Lawyer should have known to request to have original SA put aside for the exact reasons the judge stated.

Again, never confuse justice with the law.

Told to me by lawyer, my lawyer............enough said.
