  • Help please! - Net Family Property Statement

Hi all, rushing to finish my 13B as I must file my case conference brief today.

Both her and my financial statments have "to be determined" and "estimated" areas as well as pre-marital assets that are contested.

So my question is how do I complete a Net Family Property Statement when I know there will be further revisions of our Financial Statements ?

Just include a note, that is, a footnote, or a very brief explanation in the margins.

Mark an entry with a footnote number, and then at the end you have a section that would read:

"1 - This amount will be determined by December 2013 by my accountant who is waiting for documention from my insurance firm. The estimated amount is $xxxx.xx."

A NFP statement is not a requirement for the case conference.

While it can be helpful, if you don't have enough information, then the form will not be helpful.
