50 / 50 week on week off only.

Do not bend, do not flex, give an inch she'll take a mile.

Agree ^^^^^^^ Like you said, especially since she is trying for Sole. 50/50 is fair, as ate flexible concessions for special outings, but don't let her end up with more than 50%.

As others have already pointed out...
        50/50 at the most.

Giving her more time than that, would be quite foolish, given that she wishes to try and get sole custody. You can be assured, that any extra time she benefits from, she will use to "lessen" your time, with your child going forward.

She'll have her more time with things at 50/50. She'll have her 7 straight days. That's enough. I agree with the others here - don't cave. Time with you is equally important.

Everybody wants more time with their child. But there is only so much time in the day. If a child has 50-50 access with the two parents, the only way for one parent to have more time is to take it away from the other, which is unfair to the child and parent.

As you said yourself, when she did have the child, she was working. If she truly wanted more time with the child, she would arrange her work schedule around her access time better. The only reason she wants more time is to take it away from you. Not to mention that if you had the child more during the school year, she was mostly at school and not really with you. And your ex presumably would be working most of the summer and so the child would be mostly at daycare and not with her.

You are not under normal circumstances. You never will be from the sounds of it. You would need a cooperative ex for that. What you have is an ex who is determined to take your child away from you. How can your heart encourage that? It would definitely be used against you in court; she would argue that you gave up your 50-50 so you must not want it. You cannot have any give and take at this point because your ex will take take take and there goes the status quo. You cant do anything to deviate from 50-50 until the access agreement is signed.

If you want to look flexible, suggest that if she booked vacation time from work, you would be happy to rearrange weeks around that. You can be cooperative about HOW the 50-50 is done, but it must stay 50-50.
