And my lawyer asked me wher they were I resubmitted 2 copies of each!!! ?? now when I read x's affidavit I see claims that he never said that I can prove he did say that what is that??? How can one put that in an affidavit knowing that I have submitted the proof??

There were some other discussions here about texts, long story short, unless you submitt them in the right way, they won't be accepted.

    Talk to your lawyer.

Exactly. The identity of the sender can't be truly identified. Simply put, one can go to Google and search for providers who sell access to calling services where you can dupe a phone number. A disgruntled ex-spouse/partner could simply dupe the caller ID and SMS themselves all sorts of nasty stuff to generate evidence.

The service providers don't even track what was sent in the body of the message. (They can't because the amount of data storage they would have to have is well, incredibly huge, to do this!)

For example: Caller ID Faker - Fake a call !

I believe there is someone on this forum who is a PI who could explain in more detail how these services work.

Email is also a tricky one to deal with at trial too. You may be forced to voir dire them into the record. (Mini-trial inside a trial to test admissibility.)

      Good Luck!

That is interesting. I have some questions for our resident PI. Care to share with us who this individual is? I would be interested in hearing what typical hourly/daily rates are, compared to what I've been told. Curious to know if the fees are standard.

Thanks I will PM her. In the meantime if anyone knows going rates for PI's or any other need to know info I'd appreciate hearing thoughts. I understand you can hire them piece-meal and select add ons as well as daily/weekly. If anyone has had any experience using a PI I'd appreciate info.
