Can my STBX change the Child's Daycare

If she was granted sole custody she can move the child to another daycare without your consent. If the final order differs from the interim one you may be able to change it back at that time but right now I don't think there's much you can do unless there are more nefarious circumstances involved.

Is there any reason why it would be explicitly against the child's best interests to change daycares? You'll have to convince us long before you'd be able to convince a judge.

But the Sole custody is not the final Judgment, only lasts 90 days. What's why I wonder if she has the right to change. Thanks.

Right now she is planning to move to a new place closer to her friends, and I know she has registered the child with some daycare centers in that area.

I can see that one day this will come.

We just got a interim order where the Judge granted the Mother Sole custody and me some visitation rights.

Now, can my ex change the child's daycare (17 months old) before the final hearing, which could be at least several months down the road?

If, she does move the child to a new daycare without my consent, can I ask the Court to stop and return the baby to her old daycare with an emergency Motion? Will the Court normally grant such a request?
