I'm sorry about your divorce. You are not "nothing" and I am sure you are one amazing woman having taken in your husbands kids and raising them as your own when their biological mother wanted nothing to do with them. If this man cannot see how special you are, then forget him. There are plenty of smart gentlemen fish in the sea!

I too am a Ahhhhhh "Step Mom". I hate the word. I have accepted a 5 month old and a two year old and have raised them as my own. I could not have other children. Now they are 18 in university and 16 in grade 11 and I was told by my husband he wants a Divorce. I feel like I did my job and now i am worth nothing. Better yet the biological mother is now showing interest as before she did and paid for nothing. I am heart broken andconfused.
