Default make up visit - who gets to pick

Does the person who was denied acess in a long weekend get to choose what long weekend they want in return? It has been communicated to me by counsel that I would get to choose what weekend I want but I have not been able to come across case law. I do agree with counsel and just wondering if anyone familiar or have dealt with contempt motions for denial of weekend access previously?

The-Iceberg is on a distinguished road

If ex denied it, it makes sense that next long weekend is yours. If you each rotate long weekends then you get 2 in a row. They cannot deny yet dictate.

HammerDad will become famous soon enough

There is no firm process for who gets to pick the date for make-up access.

If you were the one who lost the weekend due to the ex denying access, it is generally recommended that you give the ex 3-4 weekends that work for you. The ex than picks one from that list of dates.
