Please tell me that there is no difference between signing a consent to final order and signing a consent motion to change.

The judge told us we would meet on the 30th for a brief appearance unless everything is settled before then.......

I've been asked to sign a consent to final order which includes the things we were able to settle. I thought we should be filing a motion on consent because there are still outstanding issues to be resolved.
If the signed consent to final order is filed is that a message to the judge that everything has been settled?
How do I make sure the judge knows not all the issues were settled?
Obviously only his issues were settled and that's what's in the consent to final order.

Please --- I'll listen to any advice or experience anyone has. Thank you.
