Default Thinking of appealing temporary order for movement of jurisdiction

Hello Community,

1. OCL was granted an order on motion to move jurisdiction to Toronto.
2. The order was made by the Superior Court of Justice.
3. I am thinking about appealing on the grounds that movement prior to trial is highly prejudicial to my pleadings.
4. From the rules I see that I only have seven days to serve a notice of appeal.

My questions are :

1. Am I smoking crack thinking that I can appeal this ?
2. Which court do I appeal to for decisions made by the SCJ ?

Thanks

I'd strongly recommend that you retain legal counsel - court of appeal is a pretty big deal.

Appeals are generally errors in law as far as I know and they can take a very long time to be heard.

I take it that at the motion you presented your side about not wanting the move to take place and your reasons?

An appeal isn't another "kick at the can" Unless there was some error in law I think you are out of luck.
