I don't have any suggestions, but I'm following this and interested in the replies.

Can recommend books for assistance in motions? Both of these books are easy reads and written for the law student. I would check into books for law students as opposed to self-reps...there is more available. I am assuming we are about the same status. Don't think that the law students would agree with that however!

The little book on Oral Argument by Alan Dworsky (alot of basic information in a very user-friendly format).
Making your case: the art of persuading Judges by Scalia and Garner (general principles of legal reasoning, briefing, and oral argument)

IF all else fails...start watching re-runs of The Good Wife, Suits and Law and order. Good luck!
