Default What does " annual review of agreement mean? Imply?

There is a clause in the final agreement states that " the agreement reached between the parties shall be reviewed annually on the anniversary date of the parties agreement". That was last week, so expecting something to come down the line.

What is your take on this clause?

Ex's lawyer contacted Moms lawyer and asked what date he gave the final order to her. Naturally her lawyer did not give out any privileged information and is no longer her lawyer on retainment, because she lives in another jurisdiction now.

Why do,think he wants to know that? Its like a game of bridge with sneaky game playing.

Usually that means support amounts will be reviewed. If there is CS, it is usually updated annually, if there is SS involved, that could mean an annual review to see if SS is still required.

Perhaps that has something to do with child custody and examining the possibility of altering the access?

Annual exchange of financial information is standard to determine ongoing support but that doesn't usually have to go through a legal hearing in your Province does it?

We had assumed it would mean making the next years parenting time arrangements. As the agreement really only address the first year. That was his choice.

Yes in the agreement there is NOA exchanging July 1 but of course last year he did not hand over his and has completely ignored this part of the agreement, so it part of this years review for sure. No SS just CS.

Apparently he finds it impossible to do this without his lawyer and therefore I guess there goes the down payment on a house again. :
