    whta do you do about finances after a divorce? i have found some info on lifeaftermarriage .com but I was wondering what other's thoughts are about this subject. What's your experience? any advce will help. Thank you

    Alison,

    Good question. I would think you you have the time to do everything you wanted to do with yourself. As far as finances go well, hopefully each is self sufficient. If not and one depended on the other during the marriage for support, I suspect they may be entitled to spousal support if they have need and the payor has the means. It is not always the case.

    There are so many factors that can determine eligiblity.

    Its difficult to give more of an opinion without more background
