  • Offer to Settle Question.

    What exactly does this mean?

I served a form 31 motion of contempt about a month ago, and agreed to an adjournment to April 29th.

Yesterday I receive correspondence from her attorney with an OFFER TO SETTLE ACCESS AND EXCHANGES.... along with a few proposed changes to the current access order.

First of all, if we are to change anything to do with access, wouldn't that be with a form 15 (motion to change)?

If I agree to settle the points raised in this offer, does that in essence kill the contempt motion I have raised?

Thanks for the input and advice. Joining this forum and getting educated was the best thing I have done for my kids!

Yes, it would settle the motion issues.
