  • Married in D.R divorce in Canada??

I was married 1 year ago in the dominican republic, is there any way that I can be divorced in Canada ( without appearing in the dominican republic)
    Thank You

    One year residency required

So long as you have been normally resident in your Province for not less than one year, you may apply for divorce in your Province. The only thing you need from the D.R. is your marriage certificate (original, if possible).
