  • OCL successfully argued at motion to move jurisdiction to Toronto

As expected, I lost. Judge found in favor of the OCL to move jurisdiction of the matter to Toronto.

I argued that the new status quo was unfairly founded and that moving jurisdiction pretty much decides the mobility issue against me, prior to any trial.

I knew it was a long shot. I still had to try.

So what have I learned ? I learned that there is a HUGE bias against fathers, and that parties like the OCL and CAS side with the mother. I've learned that its an uphill battle for a dad to try to hang on to his children.

    Bitter ? ... yes I am.

So, I will now move to Toronto, look for work and hope I find something that will let me continue supporting my family.

    Groan....

I'm sorry this happened to you. I know it was a long shot but I do commend you for trying. Chin up, everything will unfold as it should.
