      Yes.

      I think this highlights the concerns, issues and basically my own personal resentment towards the status quo that is our "Divorce Laws" in Canada. Certainly the Laws are an equal opportunity abuser, but the abuse is not applied equally.

      After reading 100's of case laws, talking to lawyers (some with 20+ years expierence), mediators, other divorced parents, lots and lots of fathers, years of research and my own little corner of hell, yup, the system is 100% biased. I have never said mothers do not lose custody, nor have I ever said mothers (woman) do not pay support, but the system is extremely biased against fathers and the paying parent if male.

      Anyway... the system is a joke. Sad thing, most lawyers I talk to agree. The good ones actually do care, but feel helpless... the bad ones just fatten thier wallets.

          If Judges were elected by the public in elections rather than appointed by the government, you may see differences in the outcome of cases.
