  • Getting divorce certificate after settlement

We settled in September but have not yet received a settlement agreement from the ex's lawyer. We have minutes of that settlement, however.

As the self-represented respondent, I will like to fill out Form 36 (Affidavit for Divorce) so we can finalize this and apply for a divorce certificate. Appears the Applicant has to trigger this or am I mistaken?

An item in our settlement meeting notes says "Either party shall pursue and conclude an uncontested divorce." Does this mean I can fill out form 8A, 6B and 36 to get this final divorce order?

Almost desperate to end this and start the new year afresh.

    Thanks in advance.
