  • financial disclosure - ex is trying

Hey there - need some advice.

How do you think a judge is going to look at financial statement of my ex.

Scenario - clears $3500 a month but is running a deficet of $300 - he lives alone - $1800 on transportation, clothes and food - hoot - and there's more -
what do you think or have experienced?

Won't matter for child support purposes, he will have to pay the tabled amount. Is this for spousal support?

      2hopefull,

Not knowing the circumstances $1800/ month sounds somewhat exaggerated for transportation. Does he travel 800 km a day to go to work? See what I am getting at. It does raise a few eyebrows.

As Grace mentioned it doesn't matter what is listed in his financial statement, Child support is paramount. To calculate the tables amount, take the line 150 as listed on the last years income tax return and cross reference this amount against the tables to determine the monthly periodic payable amount of child support. If the payors income fluctuates from year to year, you could take the last 3 years line 150 amounts add them together and divide by 3 to determine the amount to cross reference against the tables.
