    Friend going throught seperation issues in Quebec ... any major issues between Ontario / Quebec family law?

    Can this person learn from this site about issue's that may be specific to Quebec?

    Hubby,

    The Divorce Act(Canada) is applied in any jurisdiction in Canada. This is due to that Divorce is a federal issue.

    Specific provincial statutes apply to each province. Each province has their own. Most of the provincial statutes have similar principals.

      I can not see there being big differences at all between provinces.
      Federal law is federal law, and as logicalvelocity said there may be very very slight local differences, however these only usually relate to costs and not the law itself.
