  • Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to all of the devoted father's out there. Being a father in the context of separation and divorce is not always a pleasant thing. I say that as a father who was denied access and then called the police upon for allegations of harassment and threats - being unable to see the kids for some time - and continuing to be given grief for wanting an equal relationship to our child. With great courage, strength, and willpower, I was able to get some access (more in the works) and have now been very blessed to have found a very good lawyer who has made special time such as Father's day no longer just dreams and more so of realities.

Keep fighting for your children and being the devoted and "never" surrendering our children's rights/best interests type of father you have always been.

I did not mention any empathize to mother's who would not be able to see their children on Mother's day, so it is only fair game that I empathize with those mothers who were not able to see their children on mother's day - or with those mother's who were not able to see their children on this father's day.

    Happy Father's Day to all!

My son is spending the day with his father and then hosting a family celebration. This will be the first time in many years that son meets with his extended family (from his father's side). On son's request I put together a family photo album that son will surprise his father with. Lots of happy memories. I'm sure his father will be very touched by his thoughtfulness. It is a great relief to me, after all these years, that the two of them have reconnected.

Wishing all the dads who arent with their kids a happy day tomorrow. My partner is feeling down that this court action has driven his kids farther from him. Its sad what divorce does.

Im hopeful he can find some measure of comfort tomorrow and wish the same for all!

        Thanks for this post Trinton.

Fathers day continues to be an emotional one for me. I remember spending Fathers Day knee-deep in court papers desperately trying to see my child.

Fathers are important. Children deserve an equal relationship with their pops no matter how much ex's hate their guts. If their are no safety concerns ... you have to at least try 50/50 out before all this high conflict court stuff. Give dads some credit .. even if they didn't pull as much weight as a non-primary parent, a separation can serve as a catalyst for a new man .. a new parent.

        Happy Fathers Day!!!

Happy Father's Day! To you all! Much respect to all fathers who haven't given up despite the roadblocks. I am forever in your corner as a woman and mother I and will fight for equal parenting rights for dads. Here's hoping that you all have a moment of piece today and get to enjoy it with your children.

Thanks for the equal parenting encouragement on this site Len. Some get it .. you're one of them.
Had a great fathers day with my daughter's and g/f. I was spoiled and enjoyed every second. 😊
