  • Stood up for myself

    O.k,

so I finally felt empowered (by nervous about it). There is always a huge consequence with my ex when you stand up to him.

I wrote his lawyer back today saying I wanted to know what progress he had made getting my boys professional therapy. This is what he had committed to in his last letter to me. I have heard nothing of therapy from him when I spoke to him for 2 minutes over the weekend.

Also, I asked his lawyer to have him provide me with his last three years of T4's, notice of assessments and letter from his employer re: his company benefits. In a prior court order he was ordered to supply me these each year by X date and he has refused to do so.

On another note, I am going to look into legal aid. Anyone have any experience in it? Anyone know anything about good custody lawyers, or parent alienation? Any links would be greatly appreciated. p.s I am in Ontario

    Thank you.

You can't be alienated after 2 weeks. Even if you were alienated, the kids are too old for a judge to do anything about it. Don't waste your money on that.
