  • Document Brief? Contents?

I see on form 17E there is a document brief. After researching it, I'm curious if I have to include everything that is going into trial record in it so that I can rely on it?

As far as I know, yes you will need to include what is in dispute and what is not and all you need for Trial, in case your case goes to Trial. Have you completed the SC and then the judge ordered a TMC?

Your wording has me concerned, and confused as to your question. You may wish to have a consultation with a lawyer to assist with TMC/trial prep.

        I cannot afford a lawyer. I wish I could.

        Allow me to elaborate ,

I am wondering if I need to include any and or everything from my trial record in my Document Brief.

For example , we have an OCL Report. I include that in my trial record. But do I also need to include it in my document brief to be able to rely on it ?

          ocl report

I am not sure where you are located, but my jurisdiction is in Halton. We just had an ocl meeting and no report to be provided. It was verbal. I sent them a letter to capture the minutes disputing their position.

I'm located in Durham. Isn't it the same in Ontario ?

We had the OCL MEETING . We were both provided with a report. The ex disputed the OCL recommendations. The OCL calked me and pretty much laughed about my ex.
