  • Re registered with FRO- now what?

I re registered with Fro after withdrawing initially and having to chase and fight with ex for support and section 7. The court order states "respondant will pay $200 per mth for his share of section 7 not including child support". This order was completly disregarded. Which results in a fair chunk of arrears. Also the new order was retroactive to July 1/12 which also resulted in additional arrears. My concern is, when I call Fro, i do have a case # which after entered puts me to some ladys voicemail, but I cant get ahold of her, after leaving multiple messages... I have not recieved any papers or anythjng. How long does it take when u already were involved with Fro and re register? And what happens with arrears? How does that work? Just getting concerned with colder weather, xmas etc and no support, until Fro starts.

Unless you have a new order that accounts for the arrears, the FRO will ONLY enforce the order go forward from the date they process the paperwork and ONLY for the amounts indicated in your order.

Ballpark average is 6-8 weeks before they get their ducks in a row.

So your order with FRO by the sounds of it, will result in the go forward amounts being addressed, NOT the accumulated arrears.

You will have to return to court to get your order amended to address the arrears that were accumulated during the period you were not with FRO.
