I currently have status Quo shared custody with my ex for the last year. A true week on/ week off. My ex has filed an application and is requesting child support. She moved out to live with her affair in a similiar house in the same neighbourhood. Her new partner makes as much as me. Our salaries are a 10,000 dollar difference with me making the 10,000 more. However, she gets all the tax credits for our three children. Our line 150 is the same income. If this goes to court what do they look at, line 150 of your income tax or your T4's? I made an offer that she keeps all the tax credits and recreational tax credits and I pay no support. Of course not good enough. Anyone have knowledge on this??????

My ex filed an application and I had my case conference in January. Of course nothing got resolved except the Judge suggested we go to mediation to figure out child custody. I wanted shared my ex wanted full custody. We started mediation and my ex wanted to meet and hash it out ouselves so she could save money. We hashed out a shared custody agreement and I who is self represented wanted to sign it. My ex gave it to her lawyer and now my ex won't sign it until she gets her money. We are arguing over money because my ex and I were only common-law and she wants more than if we were legally married. I did an NFP just for fun to determine what she would be entitled too. Now she wants to change the shared access schedule. Can I now file a motion in court to settle custody?
