And those matters are heard before the Criminal Courts and not the Civil (Family Courts). Rule 24.(4) "Violence and abuse" is part of the Childrens Law Reform Act and is the only element Ontario legislature and it doesn't mention "domestic violence".

You may want to seek out a forum that focuses on criminal matters... We discuss civil litigation that is based on the balance of probabilities....

Good Luck!

Think about it!

I wasn't 'dishonest' but rather wrote about the differences in multiple streams of family life. No benefit of the doubt? No understanding? Then, please, don't respond.
Under "said fear" you would not be posting about domestic violence and conducting yourself in such a manner. You wouldn't be expressing yourself with such !! OUTRAGE !! as a true victim.

Thinking about it, generally victims of intimate partner abuse don't write responses like this. Frustrated people who are controlling and calculating and they themselves violators of Rule 24.(4) write responses like this.

Abusers such as yourself seek out public forums for false hope that someone will "believe" their false allegations. It empowers them to have others "believe" they are victims. But, often, when called out they will lash out rather than retreat. It is a well studied concept in message forum usage for which you have demonstrated "case on point" "gone_bald".

Münchausen by Internet is a pattern of behavior in which Internet users seek attention by feigning illnesses in online venues such as chat rooms, message boards, and Internet Relay Chat (IRC). It has been described in medical literature as a manifestation of factitious disorder or factitious disorder by proxy.[1] Reports of users who deceive Internet forum participants by portraying themselves as gravely ill or as victims of violence first appeared in the 1990s due to the relative newness of Internet communications. The pattern was identified in 1998 by psychiatrist Marc Feldman, who created the term "Münchausen by Internet" in 2000.

In addition your consistant defense of your story is odd to say the least. Especially to a forum of anonymous posters who by your own statement are nothing more than teenagers and who's opinions you don't value... Unless, it seems, that they are in total agreement with you and your "emotional reasoning".

One does have to question why you return to defend yourself rather than fading away and seeking criminal charges against your abuser? Or going to a government funded support service for victims of intimate partner abuse? Why come to an internet forum to seek "support"? Have the other much more qualified services rejected your claims as false too?

Good Luck!

This is an interesting thread, although I did not tread it thoroughly. The family legal system is flawed when we mingle criminal law with family law. In a case where kids custodyand posession of house are given based on emergency motion and leaving other party without the kids and house, the system is severely flawed. The other party has to wait for months and months to "prove" otherwise and reverse things and by that time a status quo has been established making it impossible to reverse things fully. The emergency motions are in place to protect the children but can be misused by some.
