Default BC introduces changes to their Family Law

Interesting...I like this part

"New sanctions are also introduced for parents who fail to show up for — or deny the other parent access to — allotted child time. Those penalties, administered by a judge, range from court-ordered recovery of parenting time and expenses to $5,000 fines and potential jail time."

Its about f'in time. I hope it passes and other provinces follow.

I may be wrong here but from IMHO problem not with lack of law (contempt very well cover fine and all that) but with Judges who a not willing to impose on such parents (again base on BIC)...

But I would agree it still better to have it )
