Default Is it possible to be 80 and still paying SS?

I've been doing my research and due to the "65 Factor" I realize that my SS will be indefinite, I realize this does not necessarily mean permanent, just that the duration is not specified, I also know that I can go back and have it reviewed if my financial situation changes. My question is " Is it possible to be 80 and still paying SS, is there an absolute cut-off date or is it a "as needed basis until whenever".

Any help would be appreciated, thank you in advance.

Me again, just to clarify, I''m the one making the SS payments, I'm trying to plan for retirement eventually and want to know how long into my retirement can I expect to be paying.

Thanks
