If he is spying on you it is against the law to record your conversation with other people and he can't record anything that you are not aware of except 1 on 1 conversation with you.

If I believed there is a 200 hour long recorder hidden in my house I would contact the police or my lawyer.

Thanks everyone for your replies. We live in a moderately small home with our son, so there are few private places to be. It is a terrible feeling! Where has he hidden this gadget? I realize he says things to me or our son to try to start up anger in me and I'm not taking the bait. I'm trying to be cool. It is time for me to find a lawyer.
