I know it's gonna get better, but man this is tough
Hey all, new member here.
Been browsing for a few days and joined today. Finally getting out of a long-term (15 years) CL relationship (final conversation pending) that died years ago (like at least 5) -- no intimacy, less and less in common etc. I stuck around to support my spouse in their educational endeavors for the last 10 years, paying all bills etc. Not looking forward to D-day (coming soon to a living-room near me...) but I keep telling myself that it's gotta get better.
