final decision
Hey
Am a new person to the sight. How long does it take for a final declaration of divorce, if everyone is agreeable? I chibby

I began my divorce in March 2008, we initially separated in September of 2007, and I received my certificate of divorce on Feb. 14 2009! So if everyone is agreeable and everything is settled about a year and a half!

Your estimate of time is reasonable. But keep in mind that both parties have to remain reasonable to make it quick.
I separated in Mar 2004... well still waiting. Maybe this june. My ex initially agreed but has since put everything in appeal. Pain in the butt. My advice to both of you is try to remain so.
