divorcing the family law lawyer
New here, but have been reading for a while.
I'm trying to prepare both financially and documentation-wise for a separation from my husband - the family law lawyer. Given his career path, he's obviously more aware than I of the FLA. I'm not worried about our child/custody, etc. She is 16 and she will choose how, when and and with whom she spends her time. My question is - how do you determine the valuation of a practice/sole proprietorship at the date of marriage when the marriage is 15 years old or older? I have his practice financial statements for the last 3 years, but I don't think he has them from 15 years ago. Suggestions?
