I have lived with my partner for 4 years. Soon after moving in it was discovered that he is signifigant tax dept. We have our wills in place. My question is : the dept was inccurred before we cohabitated and has continued to increase. We do not own anything together and all bank accounts are separate. Would I be responsible to pay this in case of death. What are the laws on this.
